Catherine Burke began with the Early Educator Support Office in 2020. Her career in early childhood education includes roles as a classroom teacher in an inclusive early learning program and a technical assistance specialist at a local Smart Start partnership. She loves supporting the professional growth and development of early childhood educators and works to ensure that every child can access a high-quality, inclusive, and equitable early learning program. Catherine holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Wake Forest University, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Denver, and an M.Ed. in Early Childhood Intervention and Family Support from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives with her family in Winston-Salem, NC.
